Cozy studio in the trendy Ashmont neighborhood. Lots of light. Just steps from the Red Line! Intercom system. Shopping and dining nearby. Needs a little work. Asking $100k. No pets!
"Trendy" Ashmont? I'll believe a lot of things but that ones just not going down easy. On the other hand, only $100K? A bargain! Why in NYC that would cost three times as much and not have near the amenities - such as a roof or all four walls...
Despite the murder outside the bar across from the T station, and the murders down Dorchester Ave a few blocks and the shooting up Dorchester Ave a few blocks.
Personal info: straight white male. (not that there's anything wrong with that!)
59 years old. Currently unemployed, due to diabetes, high blood pressure, arthritis and depression that does not respond favorably to any of the current medications.
It's not as bad as it sounds, though. I get by OK. Good days and bad days and days that are a combination of the two.

Yes, the Ashmont area is now trendy.

Really? What next - Malden? Or did they redefine the word 'trendy' when I wasn't looking...
